The Young girls Adolescence Education Programme is an important initiative that aims to empower young girls with accurate, age appropriate and culturally relevant information, promote healthy attitudes and develop skills to enable them to respond to real life situations in positive and responsible ways.
It aims to develop awareness and positive attitude toward population and development issues leading to responsible behavior among students and teachers and, indirectly, among parents and the community at large. Imparting authentic knowledge to learners about Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health concerns, inculcating positive attitude and developing appropriate life skills for responsible behavior is also part of the program.
